OK, let's cut to the chase. Wednesday's "American Idol" episode was two hours long, but all America will be talking about is the five minutes when early favorite Chris Medina, the nice guy with the brain-damaged fiancée whose sob story captured the hearts of millions, was axed in what Ryan Seacrest unhyperbolically described as the most emotional elimination in "Idol" history.
There were many spoilers out there on the Interweb days ago tipping viewers off to this shocker, but the shock didn't really set in until we all saw it on TV. America cried, I cried...and even ice queen Jennifer Lopez cried. "I don't want to do this anymore," she bemoaned. The hardened cynic in me wanted to believe that J.Lo's crocodile tears were fake, but it all just seemed too real, too sad.

Fake, fake, fake. She is doing this to soften her image. She is well known for being a nasty mean spirited witch. Also, she wants the public to like her again, so they go out and buy the garbage she sells.

Deep down, she worked hard to get where she is today and you don't know a single SHIT.She definitely knows how it feels like above whatever thing you're doing in your life. ReplyDeleteIt is obvious that there are people in the world that don't care for you or what you stand for, don't even mind them one bit. Life is always full of ups and downs and there are more out here who wants others to be down just because they are shallow or have yet to be worth while in life. A a judge there will always be moments that tough decision will have to be made and to do it as graceful as you did was very comforting. Remember there will be many other heart broken in the end for there can be only one winner.

ReplyDeleteI think that Jennifer is a star yes she has those times where fame gets to her but I think all and all she is more genuine than most. Hell I am really good about seeing people as they really are vibes auras energy whatever you call it and I have a feeling that she is a genuine person flaws and all. If she can get touched just by seeing a few people do her dance from her newest music video she can cry for breaking someone's dream. American idol give dreams but they also snatch them away just as fast. Hold steady Jennifer turn someone's dream into a reality because in the end it is worth it.

I don't think she would have the acting talent to pull of crying like that when it come across as so genuine, Jennifer is a good singer I like her music she DOES have musical talent... but she is NOT an actress. Seriously.

ReplyDeleteOpen your eyes and ears, Jennifer Lopez can't act and sing. I thought her celebrity career was caput after Ben Affleck, then she resurfaced again. Why? Don't know, maybe because she kept showing up at all the Hollywood parties. Ask her to sing live and you'll really figure out that she CANNOT sing. I can't understand why her CDs are top sellers. I agree with the above comment that she is great in marketing herself. She is smart for being in American Idol to revive her celebrity status. Bottom line, she is popular for doing nothing.
